Earlville Young life is part of a world-class organization for adolescents. Our staff
and volunteers enter the world of kids, focusing on what matters to them - fun,
adventure, friendship, and a sense significance, in doing so we earn the privilege
of talking to them about something we think matters most of all -- The truth about
Jesus Christ.
Young life was founded in 1941 by a pastor who wanted to spend time with kids
who were disinterested in church. Young life exists in 54 countries and is
supported by 4,000 staff members and more than 14,000 volunteer leaders and
almost 12,000 local committee
members.
Young Life areas are supported financially by the communities that invite our
presence, each area raises it's own budget Our goal is also to plug kids into the
church life.

Young Life teens are looking forward to our 2012 camp trip. We have spots reserved at Castaways Camp
for 15 campers and 3 leaders. We will be traveling to Minnesota July 8th and coming home July 14th. The
cost is $494.00 per camper. Not a bad price for the best week in a teenager's life. If you don't believe it,
ask any teen that's been to camp. We are well on our way to reaching that goal, and are looking forward
to working to raising enough funds so that no camper stays home because of a lack of money. We are
planning an all-school lock-in in conjunction with Spring Break. We had one last year and it was a good
time. .More details will be in the March newsletter.
A great big thank you to our friend Riki Johnson, who helped us with our last fundraiser. We sold Scentsy
burners and scents. Riki donated her commission and all profits went to young life campership fund. May
God richly bless you Riki!
Please pray for this ministry and it's leaders, these young people need Jesus and we are bringing him to
them one week at a time.
